PIMS Site Director & Professor of Mathematics & Statistics, University of Saskatchewan

Steven Rayan is a Full Professor and NSERC- and CFI-supported researcher in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Saskatchewan, which is located on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. He is a faculty member of both the College of Arts & Science and the College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. He am also the Director of the Centre for Quantum Topology and Its Applications (quanTA) at the University and the University's Director of Interdisciplinary Programming.

Dr. Rayan is one of the leaders for the PIMS CRG in Quantum Topology and its Applications.
