UBC Number Theory Seminar: Patrick Ingram
Topic
Some results on arithmetic dynamics in positive characteristic
Speakers
Details
After a general overview of some open questions on arboreal Galois representations, we will present some recent work on the positive-characteristic case.
Additional Information
Patrick Ingram received his PhD from UBC in 2006, and has worked at the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, Colorado State University, and York University. His research is in number theory, and specifically arithmetic dynamics.
